We send our congratulations to the LEO Society and the Cambridge Centre for Computing History for taking the “Highly Commended” prize in the Charities section of the recent UK IT Awards! The extraordinary story of the world’s first business computer unfolds at 66 Hammersmith Road where we are currently working on redevelopment proposals with Big Yellow Self Storage. More about the proposed scheme can be seen here 66 Hammersmith Road

Recent efforts to document and share the amazing history of LEO have included the creation of a virtual LEO I app which can be downloaded for free from a dedicated website https://www.leo1.co.uk/ There is also a fabulous film explaining the history of LEO which can be seen here: https://www.computinghistory.org.uk/det/67107/New-Film-The-Story-of-LEO/

Big Yellow Self Storage commissioned award-winning artist Kerry Lemon to create a public art piece commemorating the history of LEO at 66 Hammersmith Road which will incorporate links to these virtual pieces.
