Streatham High Road Hotel

Mountford Pigott is delighted to announce that Lambeth Council’s planning committee has unanimously resolved to approve our proposals for a new Travelodge in Streatham. The scheme is located opposite Streatham Railway Station and comprises a 114-bedroom hotel and a live music venue at ground floor. The banded brick elevations with their horizontal emphasis make reference to the high quality Victorian brick terraces of Streatham. With a strong focus on sustainability, the development will achieve BREEAM Excellent with a wide range of passive and active measures to reduce energy consumption, from improved building fabric construction to waste water heat recovery systems; also providing on-site renewable energy generation through PVs; prioritising active travel and public transport; 100% EV charging points for accessible parking; and also achieving a net gain in biodiversity and an improved urban greening factor of 0.37. The development features a carefully crafted high quality public realm that has been designed to provide external amenity space for the new hotel and music venue as well as the existing work spaces.
