Burlington Lane, Chiswick

We recently secured a planning appeal for our large residential scheme at Burlington Lane, Chiswick. In a very positive decision from the Planning Inspector, he noted “the proposal would be of a high-quality design appropriate for this prominent and wayfinding location, and an improvement on the existing townscape.  It would enhance the character and appearance of the Conservation Area”.

A “Retrofit First” approach was adopted to transform this large and unattractive existing office block in a landmark location adjacent the Hogarth roundabout. The scheme comprises extending the existing footprint; updating the entire façade and adding two additional storeys to provide 104 apartments, as well as a new, beautifully landscaped internal courtyard and rooftop communal space, whilst retaining car parking and amenity spaces at ground and first floors.

We look forward to starting the project delivery phase for this high-quality contemporary development in the coming months.
