The Black Cap, Camden Town

Mountford Pigott is delighted to announce the completion of our refurbishment works at The Black Cap on Camden High Street, which was featured on BBC London, (BBC News link) this morning. The venue is now officially open for business!

Recognised by Camden Council as a site of cultural significance, The Black Cap has long been an important hub for the LGBTQ+ community, and the refurbishment ensures it continues to serve this vital role.

Our scope included developing the enabling works and detailed tender packages alongside a comprehensive coordination review of the interior design during the construction stage, in addition to pre-contract BR-PD and pre and post contract CDM-PD services.  The project included the full fit-out of the pub and entertainment spaces across the ground and first floors, alongside alterations providing enhanced guest and performer accommodation to the upper floors. We are so pleased to have been part of the consultant team who delivered this iconic venue scheme.
