Mountford Pigott was appointed by John Sisk and Son to develop and deliver the Fletcher Priest design concept for Telstar House, Eastbourne Terrace, Paddington.
The development was commissioned by Derwent Valley Holdings, and provides over 9300m² of high quality floorspace with a Category B fit-out. The building has been fully let to Rio Tinto for their single shared resource centre for the UK and Europe, relocating approximately 500 staff currently in London, Bristol, Guildford and Montreal, Canada.
The accommodation is spread over eight storeys including a basement, and the envelope is constructed using a unitised cladding system comprising Spanish limestone, coated glass and insulated anodised aluminium panels.
The whole development had a construction value in the order of £30m and was completed in August 2007.
