Work Started on Major Redevelopment, Botley Oxford

Mountford Pigott are pleased to announce that following the finalisation of a number of relocation and temporary phasing elements, the main works for the major redevelopment at Westway Place Botley Oxford have begun.

The scheme which redevelops the existing shopping centre and adjacent buildings has been split into two phases. Phase 1 comprises a 123 bedroom hotel and 261 unit student accommodation split over three blocks sited above a number of new retail units. A Baptist church, community and office spaces are also provided within this initial phase as well as a split level car park and new central boulevard.

Phase 2, which is due to start early next year, will provide 140 residential units split over two blocks, with the entire development due for completion late 2020.

Having taken this though the early design and the detailed planning process, Mountford Pigott will be working alongside contractor SDC to deliver this project on behalf of Botley Development Company.
