Mixed Use Development in Battersea

Mountford Pigott have been commissioned to design a mixed use development on a 1.58 acre site in Battersea. The site covers almost an entire block is situated on the corner of Lombard Road and York Road – a focal point that has been identified in masterplanning work carried out by Wandsworth Council.

The scheme comprises a large self-storage facility; commercial office space, small flexi (incubator) office space, retail units and circa. 200 residential units. As part of the development a new public space will also be created which will provide relief from noisy traffic. The scheme culminates in a 23 storey tower adjacent the focal point corner.

Several pre-application meetings have taken place with the officers and meetings have taken place with the Ward Councillors and the Leader of the Council and a well-attended public consultation has taken place.

Mountford Pigott are now developing the designs further incorporating where possible all feedback received to date. A detailed Planning Application will be submitted early in 2017.mountford-pigott-battersea-mixed-use-nov-2016-00mountford-pigott-battersea-mixed-use-nov-2016-01 mountford-pigott-battersea-mixed-use-nov-2016-03 mountford-pigott-battersea-mixed-use-nov-2016-04mountford-pigott-battersea-mixed-use-nov-2016-02
