Preparation of the Brief for such a large and complex site involved the co-ordination of many specialist consultants, including Highways, Landscaping, Ecology and Archaeology. Initial proposals were developed through the Enquiry by Design process with public exhibitions and Design Workshops. The final masterplan was able to assimilate and resolve many of these often conflicting requirements, to produce a scheme containing areas of distinct character capable of accommodating a wide range of tenant requirements.
